The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center
Located along the sparkling shores of Lake Harrison, The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center was the personal project of founder George P. Mitchell. Today, it serves as a vacation destination, as well as a hub for business. This 500-acre property boasts two golf courses, 402 hotel rooms, the Forest Oasis Waterpark, a conference center with 33 meeting rooms, as well as a spa and fitness center.
The Big Barn
Located in a 165 year old tobacco barn, Dosey Doe's Big Barn is one of the most famous music venues in all of The Woodlands. The Big Barn creates an intimate space for artists to truly engage with their audience, and it's also a great place to grab lunch or dinner before a show. Dave Mason, Michael Martin Murphey, Marcia Ball, the Manhattan Transfer, and Roger Creager are just a few notable musicians who have played here!
Grogan's Mill Village Center is one of the area's largest retail hotspots, and it's also been a staple shopping center for residents since the 1970s. Today, it's home to a mix of chain restaurants and local favorites, like The Blue Lion Pub, Becks Prime, and Fuddruckers. You'll also find dozens of stores, multiple banks, a gas station, a top-rated daycare, and even the official Woodlands Farmers Market.
